Disney Nail Art Challenge: Aurora/Sleeping Beauty

For my latest installment of the Disney Nail Art Challenge, I have Princess Aurora, aka Sleeping Beauty, themed nails for you.  I was inspired by the magic battle over her dress color, make it pink, no make it blue!! I did a splatter mani to show the overlapping colors.  Some nails have a pink base with blue splatter and the others are blue base with pink splatter. This was my first splatter mani and it was surprisingly easy and fun to do! I think I'll be trying another one soon.

Polishes Used:
Pink- China Glaze Dance Baby
Blue- Chrome Girl Barely Legal

Have you done a splatter mani before? Any color combos you think I should try?

Also, if you aren't already doing so, you should follow me on Instagram @sparkleandpolish because I post sneak peaks and extra manis that don't show up on the blog :)

Disney Nail Art Challenge: Belle

Day 15!! So excited to have made it this far in the challenge! Here are my nails inspired by the lovely Belle from Beauty and the Beast, she is one of my favorite princesses.  These nails are inspired by her lovely yellow and gold dress, and of course I couldn't skip red roses!

Base color is Chrome Girl Endless Summer, the gold is Sinful Colors gold striper polish.
For my roses I started with blobs of China Glaze Ruby Pumps and added the darker petals with Germanicure by OPI.

Also, if you aren't already doing so, you should follow me on Instagram @sparkleandpolish because I post sneak peaks and extra manis that don't show up on the blog :)

Lancome Vernis In Love

I heard good reviews about Lancome nail polish on Instagram so I decided to give it a try. And let me tell you, I am so glad I did!! I picked up the entire summer polish collection, which has 4 great blue toned polishes!  To prevent myself from repeating the review with each polish, they are amazing! super pigmented, smooth flowing creams, and the brush, oh my gosh the brush!! Perfection! Thats all I have to say about that, if you haven't already tried Lancome, I cannot recommend it enough!
 Simply Aqua #500
Ultramarine Green #521
Aqua Bleu #545
Plunge Pool #561

I used 3 thin coats for each, I probably could have just done 2, but I am a chronic 3 coater.

These polishes are amazing and I can't wait to try more from Lancome, have you tried Lancome Polish? Any colors you think I should try?
